The LARK M3 supports audio output at 48kHz / 32-bit float in compatible recording applications on Apple devices, offering greater flexibility when adjusting audio levels during post-production. Android devices support up to 24-bit audio output according to Hollyland's specifications.

With a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 70dB and a maximum sound pressure level of 125dB SPL, the system is designed to capture clear speech across a variety of recording situations. Its omnidirectional microphone captures sound from all directions, making it suitable for interviews, presentations, vlogging, and conversational content.

AI Noise Cancellation for Clearer Voices

Background noise can affect the quality of recordings, particularly in busy environments. The LARK M3 features AI-powered noise cancellation designed to reduce unwanted sounds such as traffic, air-conditioning noise, wind, and running water.

Three adjustable noise-cancellation levels—10dB, 15dB, and 20dB—allow users to adapt the effect to their surroundings. This helps maintain intelligible speech in different recording environments, from quiet indoor studios to busy outdoor locations.

Custom Voice Tuning and Independent Audio Tracks

The Hollyland LARK M3 includes eight built-in vocal presets, with additional adjustments available through the HollyAudio app. These settings help users tailor voice characteristics to suit different speakers and recording scenarios.

For multi-person recordings, the system supports four independent audio tracks with compatible equipment and recording software. Separating individual speakers makes it easier to adjust volume, reduce unwanted sounds, and fine-tune each voice during editing.

The Auto-Limit Clip Protection feature also helps manage sudden increases in audio levels to reduce clipping and maintain more consistent recordings.

Lightweight Design with Flexible Magnetic Mounting

Each transmitter weighs approximately 9g and features a compact, button-sized design. This lightweight construction helps minimize fabric pulling, making it suitable for extended recording sessions and discreet microphone placement.

Magnetic mounting provides flexibility when attaching the transmitter to clothing. The included accessories vary by kit but can include magnets and furry windshields for additional mounting options and wind-noise reduction.

Using 2.4GHz adaptive frequency hopping and Hollyland's proprietary HDT wireless technology, the LARK M3 offers a transmission range of up to 300 metres (1,000 feet) in open, unobstructed environments without interference.

This extended range is useful for interviews, outdoor filming, presentations, and situations where the speaker needs to move away from the recording device. Actual range may vary depending on obstacles, interference, and the surrounding environment.

Extended Battery Life for Longer Recording Sessions

Each transmitter provides up to eight hours of operation with noise cancellation disabled, or approximately four to four-and-a-half hours with noise cancellation enabled. The camera receiver provides approximately nine hours of operation.

The charging case included in the 2TX & 2RX configuration offers more than two additional charging cycles for the two transmitters, providing up to 24 hours of total transmitter runtime per charge cycle sequence. With two transmitters used alternately, Hollyland advertises up to 48 hours of operation for extended production workflows.

Flexible Connectivity for Cameras, Smartphones and Computers

Depending on the kit, the LARK M3 includes a USB-C receiver, a camera receiver, or both. This flexibility allows creators to select the connection type that matches their equipment and recording workflow.

The camera receiver supports connection through a 3.5mm TRS audio cable, while the USB-C receiver is designed for compatible USB-C devices. The HollyAudio app provides access to supported settings, including gain adjustments, noise cancellation, microphone muting, and voice tuning.
