With 6TB capacity, CMR recording technology, 256MB cache and SATA 6 Gb/s connectivity, it is designed to handle the continuous write workloads associated with modern surveillance environments.

WD Purple drives are engineered specifically for mainstream surveillance applications. The drive's AllFrame firmware technology is optimized for write-intensive, low-bit-rate and high-stream-count workloads, helping support continuous surveillance recording.

6TB Storage Capacity

With 6TB of storage, the WD64PURZ provides substantial capacity for storing surveillance footage. Actual recording duration depends on factors such as the number of cameras, resolution, frame rate, compression format, recording schedule and required retention period.

CMR Recording Technology
